Overview

Alogomandra is a private wine label created for a Chardonnay–Viognier wine with a strong sense of place. The name draws from Aleomandra / Alogomandra, a coastal area in southwest Mykonos associated with rocky terrain, sea views and a local mythological reference to the sacred horses of Apollo and Delos.

The visual direction translates this reference into a vivid illustrated composition, where horse-like forms, abstract shapes and bold Mediterranean colors create a label that feels both expressive and rooted in the island’s character. Rather than following a conventional wine-label language, the design uses illustration as the main identity element, giving the bottle a distinctive, memorable presence.

The final artwork balances energy and structure: a colorful illustrated field is anchored by a dark typographic band, allowing the name, grape varieties and vintage to remain clear and legible. The result is a private label with personality, designed to work both as a physical bottle and as a visual touchpoint within a hospitality or lifestyle context.
